The Locher family brews beer in the town of Appenzell, at the foot of the Alpstein massif. They use hops, malt and fresh spring water from the legendary Alpstein.
That’s what makes Appenzeller beer so distinctive in flavour and so popular. This brewery has been in the family for five generations, and still continues to create new and innovative beers.
It’s only natural that having a presence at Switzerland’s major hotel and catering trade fair is one of the firm’s main marketing touchstones. No wonder it’s particularly important for them to make it a success.
Industry visitors discovered and rediscovered the wide variety and high quality of Appenzell beer at this stand, spanning 180m².
The firm’s appearance was a great success, and their many visitors were enthusiastic: not only about its well-known Quöllfrisch beer, but also about the rarer and more unusual brews like the organic Vollmond, the oak-barrel Holzfass and the rice beer.
